High Performance, High Reliability
The CP980RC is designed specifically to fulfill the requirements of customers looking for high performance, high reliability switching solutions at low cost. The 6U CompactPCI form factor facilitates communications within a CompactPCI chassis as well as supporting the network outside the chassis. It is RoHS compliant, and supports high availability hot swap.
Configuration and Monitoring Capabilities
Layer 2 unmanaged switches are switches with configuration and monitoring capabilities, but with the management limited to layer 2. These are also accessed locally or remotely. Unmanaged switches are Layer-2 switches with no operator interface and are designed for quick deployment in simpler applications.
