Overview
Offering increased processing performance and bandwidth over previous models, the SOSA-aligned I/O-intensive SBC3513 features the Intel® Xeon® W processor, formerly known as Tiger Lake H. With eight cores operating at 2.6GHz, it offers 64 GBytes of DDR4 RAM and up to 480 GBytes of nVME SSD.
Designed with a 100GbE data plane, 25GbE control plane, and PCIe Gen4 to the backplane, the rugged, commercial-off-the-shelf SBC3513 is well suited for demanding command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance (C4ISR) and industrial applications.
Do more with more
The SBC3513 offers a straightforward upgrade path to SBC3511 users offering many of its features but with enhanced performance and speed capabilities thanks to newer silicon and engineering. GPIO is moved to the FPGA for latency reduction, and other upgrades to NVRAM, DisplayPort and more extend the capability. But even with all the extras, power is still around 100W.
Security is key
Like the SBC3511, the new SBC offers on-board Xilinx Zynq® UltraScale+™ MPSoC’s built-in security capabilities, including an unclonable function (PUF), user-accessible hardened cryptographic blocks, asymmetric authentication, side channel attack protection, and other silicon-based AT features.
Software support
Abaco offers several firmware options as well as SDKs and other support for Windows 10/11 and Linux Fedora, Red Hat and Ubuntu for the SBC3513.
