Overview
The SE1 is a Pentium M based high-performance graphics card, biring the power of desktop gaming to the aerospace and defense market. Applications requiring the highest drawing performance available will benefit from the power of the Intel "Sonoma" architecture. Driving a high-end nVidia GeForce 7800 GT graphics processing unit with the 2.0 GHz "Dothan" Pentium M processor and the 915GM Northbridge chipset, SE1 is among the hottest "gaming" platforms available. Scoring 8120 in the 3DMark05 benchmark, the board is easily the highest performing graphics board in the VME marketplace. Applications including 3D terrain generation, embedded training and simulation will all benefit from the huge data bandwidth of 16-lane PCI Express interface between the Northbridge and the GPU, allowing more vertices and more textures to be rendered than ever before in aerospace and defense applications.
