Overview

VIPC8243 is an intelligent 6U VME carrier board with four IndustryPack slots with front I/O, NVRAM/RTC, a highly integrated MPC8240 PowerPC microprocessor with an MPC603e CPU kernel, 64 MB SDRAM and a powerful DRAM controller, and PCI interface. Incudes 1 + 8 MB FLASH memory, and a Fast Ethernet interface. Software support is available for VxWorks and Linux.
