PMC232RG/GD

A highly configurable PMC/PCMCIA HBA, the PMC232RG/GD integrates PC-Cardbus devices using a PMC form factor with a range of mechanical configurations. The PMC232RG/GD has the PCMCIA socket recessed into the PCB behind the front panel. This allows PCMCIA I/O cards with dongles to be fixed to the PCB. As with the PMC232, the PMC232RG/GD offers PCMCIA expansion for single board computers or other processor boards supporting PMC connectivity. In addition, card edge PCI systems can be accommodated using our PMC239 adapter, for rapid prototype and development. Software support We provide full software support for all popular software environments (e.g. VxWorks, LynxOS, Windows NT, Linux, etc.). Each driver has been developed specifically for the real time data acquisition market. A software license is included with each PCMCIA card purchased. The PMC232RG/GD is a low cost solution for integrating the wide range of I/O options available in PCMCIA form factor to meet a variety of system requirements. By providing an integrated solution of PMC adapter, PCMCIA card and software driver, we offer unique assurance of ongoing compatibility. This is of critical importance when working with PCMCIA devices. The PMC232RG/GD HBA supports PCMCIA revision 2.1, and PC Cardbus capability.
