Overview

The PMC-246 embedded disk modules offers a totally new, low cost option for file system and boot storage. It allows for convenient removal or insertion of high density ATA PCMCIA cards. ATA flash cards up to 4GB as well as 10GB rotary disk in a PCMCIA form factor. In addition, card edge PCI systems can be accommodated using a our PMC239 adapter for rapid prototype and development.
 

  • Boot any OS such as Windows NT, RTOS, etc. from a single ATA PCMCIA card
  • Magnetic disks up to 10GB
  • ATA cards up to 4GB Flash
  • Available with front panel ejector or recessed
  • PCI 32bit at 33/66Mhz
  • ATA compliant Host Bus Adapter
  • Runs under the OS File System
