NEXUS Forte

NEXUS Forte Multiprocessor PowerPC solution provides a consistent hardware and software platform for use from benign lab applications to extreme rugged deployment environments. The NEXUS Forte was designed to operate in deployed environments and simultaneously supports build options to meet the requirements specific to each stage of the system development and deployment cycle. This major addition to the Abaco Systems NEXUS family can be built as a single, dual or quad CPU multiprocessor board using shared-memory (SMP). It accomodates either 7447A or 7448 processing nodes and provides 1GB DDR SDRAM and two 133 MHz PCI-X PMC sites in its standard configuration. Gigabit Ethernet is supported over the VME backplane through compliance with ANSI/VITA 31.1 for P0.
