Overview
Designed for high frequency sonar transmit, sonar receive, signal monitoring, ultrasound, vibration research, arbitrary waveform generation and test and measurement applications, the ICS-625B PCI Bus analog output board significantly advances the state-of-the-art by providing up to thirty two 24-bit DAC channels at rates of up to 288 kHz/ch. The ICS-625B uses one of a new generation of multi-bit Delta-Sigma DAC chips (Analog Devices AD1852) that offers very high precision over a wide bandwidth. The product features the new FPDP II 400 MBytes/s front panel interface in addition to 64-Bit, 66 MHz PCI 2.2 interface. The ICS-625B provides differential outputs with high current drivers, allowing the board to directly drive large capacitive loads. The outputs may also be taken as single-ended signals. 8-pole programmable reconstruction filters are provided at the outputs so that no external filtering is required.
