The CRS-D8I-3VF1 VPX system’s I/O flexibility is capable of meeting a large number of configurations. It is designed to support Abaco Systems’ Intel 3rd generation Core i7 3U SBCs, Gigabit Ethernet switch, video compression card, CUDA-based graphics cards and a MIL-STD-1553/ARINC429 multi-protocol card.

Designed for most demanding environments

The CRS-D8I-3VF1 is powered by a 28 VDC power supply that meets MIL-STD-704F as well as having the option to support a 115 VAC, 400Hz single-phase power supply. This data processing system provides a rugged and highly flexible computing platform suited for applications requiring absolute reliability such as civilian and military unmanned vehicless, manned commercial and military aircraft, helicopters, over- and underwater research vessels, and ground vehicles.

Ready-made solution that is pre-integrated and pre-tested, that requires no NRE, is readily available and costs substantially less than assembling the piece parts. Abaco Systems has integrated and tested the CRS-D8I-3VF1 and provides Board Support Packages (BSPs) and drivers that can easily be usde to integrate the application and reduce software development lifecycle.

To help jump start a project, Abaco Systems offers laboratory development units, or starter kits, pre-configured for development purposes. Based on the required system controller architecture and bus system, Abaco Systems can provide the appropriate development system for specific needs.
