Overview
High Density PC/104-Plus interface for development and deployment
Designed for embedded and development applications, the CEI-430 and RCEI-430A support maximum data throughput on all channels while providing onboard message scheduling, label filtering, multiple buffering options, receive message time-tagging and error detection, and IRIG-B receiver (AM or DC/TTL) and generator (DC/TTL).
Multiple channel configurations provide optimum application flexibility
The CEI-430 supports up to 24 ARINC 429 channels, (12 receivers and 12 transmitters), and is available in various ARINC 429 channel counts. The RCEI-430A supports 24 ARINC 429 receivers and up to 4 transmitters. Configurations with ARINC 717 provide support for both HBP (Harvard Bi-Phase) and BPRZ (Bi-Polar Return to Zero) protocols, across a range of bit rate/sub-frame combinations. Support for 16 bi-directional avionics-level Discrete Input/Output is included. Ruggedized configurations with extended operating temperatures are also available.
Software tools minimize integration effort, shorten time to implementation
Abaco Systems' software tools and solutions significantly reduce the time required to integrate ARINC 429 and other avionics protocols into an application. Included with the CEI-430/RCEI-430A is Abaco Systems' flexible, high-level API support for Windows®, VxWorks®, and Linux (contact Abaco Systems for the specific O/S versions supported). This powerful API supports multiple cards and is compatible with Abaco Systems' API support on PCI, PCI Express®, Mini-PCIe, Express Card, Compact PCI/PXI, PMC, and XMC platforms.
