Overview
The AFDX-E1000 Series is an intelligent and flexible air- or conduction-cooled AFDX End System with a single or dual channel. It is based on a 6U VME64-format single slot computer with a Freescale® MPC7457® Power Architecture processor. The AFDX-E1000 uses COTS hardware and new software protocols so future changes in aviation standards can easily be updated through a software-loadable stack and driver. The conduction-cooled version addresses the needs of rugged military filght applications.
