The SOSA-aligned VP231, featuring AMD’s popular Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC, brings Abaco’s pedigree of field-proven ruggedization in a mixed-signal RF+FPGA solution that delivers high-performance while optimizing for overall system efficiency. Available as a standalone 3U VPX card or integrated with Abaco’s broad portfolio of VITA 57.4 compliant digital and analog RF I/O FMCs for integrated high-performance mixed signal processing, which enables easy upgrades to future technology. Both low-latency LVDS data bus and JESD204 high-speed serial interfaces are supported for maximum flexibility.

Aligned with a SOSA standard RF payload slot profile, it is ruggedized to meet demanding, mission critical applications such as communications, sensor processing, radar, electronic warfare, autonomous vehicles, renewable energy stations, and semiconductor processing equipment.

The VP231 supports 40GbE and 10GbE data planes.  High-speed RF signals can be transferred directly between the FMC+ and the backplane through the P2 connector. Optional MORA, VITA 49.2, REDHAWK and GNU Radio support is available, providing an increased level of system flexibility by taking advantage of future technology upgrades, portability, upgradeability, and interoperability.
