What you need
The SBC6511 outshines with 64GB DDR4 with ECC and up to 256 GB NVMe SSD. It delivers a multi-fabric architecture on the data, control, and expansion planes. The SBC6511 provides support for DisplayPort™ 1.2 outputs providing alignment with the latest VITA 65 OpenVPX standard. It also provides a dual 40 GbE data plane with RDMA, plus dual 10GbE ports on the control plane. Expansion is supported by the PCIe Gen 3 capable expansion plane and multiple PCIe Gen 3 capable XMC sites.
Powerful hardware made stronger by game-changing software
Knowing your weak points is the foundation of strength, because you can’t correct what you don’t measure. The SBC6511 can also be supported with one or more elements of the Abaco software suite, including PBIT for early monitoring and reporting; CIBIT for non-intrusive ongoing and on-demand monitoring and reporting; AXIS Software Tool Suite for increased application performance; and Health Toolkit, which acts as a system monitor to collect and report the health of all elements in the system, thanks to the VITA46.11 tier 1 and tier 2 interface over IPMI. All are fully compatible with the most widely-used operating systems and applications for industrial and defense deployments. The SBC6511 supports Linux, Windows and VxWorks operating systems plus Abaco’s AXIS software suite.
SOSA aligned by design
The SBC6511 is aligned with The Open Group Sensor Open Systems Architecture™, or SOSA™, technical standard. As well as providing alignment with the SOSA standard, a full-feature variant of the SBC6511 is available to provide a robust insertion/upgrade solution for users of the SBC627, delivering substantially superior performance with minimal disruption. In addition to all features of the SOSA aligned variant, the full-feature SBC6511 provides one additional XMC site, one additional DisplayPort™, and four additional USB 3.1 ports through inclusion of rear P3 and P6 connections.
Advanced security capabilities
The SBC6511 also features the innovative Xilinx® Zynq® UltraScale+™ FPGA with advanced security capabilities such as encryption, physically un-clonable functions (PUF) and Zeroization to help keep customer applications and missions secure. The FPGA is the root of trust in the SBC6511, giving users advanced security compared to “bolt-on” solutions found in other designs.
