Overview
PMC-OCTPRO-422 expands eight high-performance asynchronous RS-422 serial channels to a PCI Mezzanine Card (PMC). The PMC provides high channel density for serial I/O and data communications applications requiring a large number of serial channels in a restricted space. Asynchronous serial drivers are available for popular operating systems including Windows NT, VxWorks, and Linux (kernel 2.6.0).
- PMC with eight RS-422 asynchronous serial channels
- Data rates to 460.8 kbaud
- I/O via front- or back-panel P4 connectors
- 128-byte FIFOs for receive and transmit on each channel
- Linux, VxWorks, and Windows NT drivers available
