Overview
CP944 is a full wire speed, non-blocking Managed Layer 2 Ethernet switch . This switch is an economical solution for high-availability PICMG 2.16 systems. CP944 hosts 24 ports of 10/100Mb Ethernet to rear I/O and, optionally, 2 Gigabit Ethernt ports to either front or rear I/O. In a standard 19-inch rackmount chassis, 19 ports are for PICMG 2.16 compliant use with the remaining five ports available to the user for additional links via a rear transition card.
