Overview
The IP-MP-SERIAL423 IndustryPack implements two EIA-423 high speed multiprotocol serial ports, each with a full set of handshake and clock signals. The IndustryPack incorporates the Zilog Z16C30 Universal Multi-Protocol Serial Controller (USC) that includes four 32-byte FIFO buffers.The two channels within the USC are completely independent. Independent interrupt vectors and controls are provided for each IP-MP-SERIAL423 channel.
- Multiprotrol support including SDLC, HDLS, BiSync, NRZ, NRZI and Biphase
- FIFOs on all receivers and transmitters
- Two EIA-423 ports on a single-wide IndustryPack
