Why won't my Condor VME card function when there are open slots between it and the controller in the VME chassis?

Many VMEbus backplanes require shunts or jumpers installed for open slots to pass the A32 Bus Grant and misc. other interrupt signals. This is usually not a Condor card setup issue, but is a common chassis backplane issue. It is recommended that you reference your VMEbus backplane documentation regarding the setup of open slots in the VME chassis.
