Abaco’s DSP221 is a member of the PowerPC family of rugged 6U VXS Single Board
Computer (SBC) and features the NXP T2081 QorIQ™ processor, which contains
four dual-threaded and with AltiVec™ coprocessing, running up to 1.8 GHz and
consuming up to 25W. The processor supports NXP’s Power Architecture AMP
(Advanced Multiprocessing), PCIe serial fabric and I/O interfaces. The DSP221
supports eight GBytes of DDR3 SDRAM with ECC Single Bank, 512 MBytes of NOR
Flash memory and 32 GBytes of SATA NAND Flash memory, along with two
Gigabit Ethernet channels and two serial COM ports. A VME64 interface is available
to the backplane.
