SBS Technologies, Inc., Embedded Computers (formerly SBS Embedded Computers) announces the PROEBX, an embedded microprocessor stand-alone single board computer. The PROEBX is a cost-effective board that includes dual PC&8226;MIP sites, processor speeds up to 333 MHz, memory capacities up to 512MB, and up to 144MB of Flash Disk-on-Chip.

Features
Standard features of the PROEBX include Super I/O functionality, with 2.88 MB Floppy interface, multi-mode parallel port, dual serial ports, keyboard, mouse and real-time clock. Also included are three independent programmable timers and four A/D converters. Dual 168 pin DIMM modules support various size DRAM and SDRAM for ease of field upgradeability. In addition, the PROEBX has two 4k EPROMs to store on-board manufacturing information as well as user-specific information.
The PROEXB is 100% IBM PC/AT compatible and supports a wide variety of off-the-shelf software packages that utilize the PC architecture. Operating systems supported include Microsoftís MS-DOS, Windows, Windows 98 and Windows NT, as well as real-time operating systems QNX, Lynx, and VxWorks.
