The purpose of this application note is to explain the BusTools/ARINC ASCII file format used for import and export of equipment ID and label information. We will use an example-based approach where we walk through and explain an equipment ID definition file exported from BusTools/ARINC. This should provide the information needed for users to modify or create these files to define label sets for their specific needs. The complete equipment ID file that we will discuss is listed at the end of this document.
