VP868, VP869, VP840 Hardware Reference Manual
This user manual describes the hardware and function of three products; VP868 is a Dual Ultrascale FPGA configuration, VP840 is a Single Ultrascale FPGA variant, and the VP869 is a Dual Ultrascale Plus FPGA build. All three are otherwise the same product and have a Zynq 7000 management FPGA/SoC.
The VP868 is a high-performance 6U OpenVPX (VITA-65) compliant plug-in module with advanced DSP (Digital Signal Processing) capabilities and flexible I/O with its two FMC+ module sites and its I/O daughter card with SSD support. The daughter card provides customers an easier path to custom I/O ports with front panel access. At the heart of the VP868 is a Zynq dual Arm-9 Processor/FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) hybrid for board management and configuration of the two UltraScale FPGAs. The FPGAs are used for digital signal processing, backplane switching, and FMC+ (FPGA Mezzanine Card) site support.
