Dutch Courage: On the Road to GTC Europe
With less than a week to go to the NVIDIA GPU Technology Conference (GTC) in Amsterdam, at the Amsterdam Passenger Terminal—the first time GTC has been held in Europe—we are working hard on getting our small form factor concept ready for demonstration. We made a decision to go big with our small form factor (SFF) concept… Featuring the latest NVIDIA Tegra X1 processor our concept is being showcased at both GTC Europe and AUSA.
We can’t say too much about this little marvel (it really is a supercomputer in every sense) as we will be sharing more detail on our development plans at the show. [Editor: More details about it will appear in a press release to published on the first day of the show—September 28.] The live demo is up and running now and we are busy hooking up the cameras and applying the finishing touches to the units.
We will also be showing one of our more powerful desktop GPU products, the GRA113Q (Quad Display) 3U OpenVPX board with its 640 GPU cores running NVIDIA CUDA (compute capability 3.0). So: we have you covered—from the embedded low power 64-bit ARM-based NVIDIA Tegra X1 up to our 6U OpenVPX IPN252 with its latest NVIDIA Maxwell GPU which is capable of delivering an astonishing 1.4 TeraFLOPS of processing power.
I will be at the show all week, setting up and running the demos and speaking on Day 2 (Embedded Track) about how GPUs are being deployed in military ground vehicles, and highlighting potential use cases for this technology in the future.
So: come along to the show and find out how we’re uniquely using NVIDIA technology to solve the toughest computing problems in the most challenging environments. We look forward to seeing you there on Stand S3, speaking on the Embedded Track Day 2...
