Overview
The CEI-200 is a powerful, full-function ARINC 429 interface platform for IBM PC/AT and compatible ISA Bus computers. An autonomous, on-board processor allows this interface to keep up with maximum ARINC data rates on all channels without loading down the PC host. Dual-Ported RAM provides large data buffers and the optimal host computer interface for performance and versatility. Dedicated (not multiplexed), hardware support is provided for all ARINC channels. The CEI-200 supports maximum data rates on all channels while providing on-board message scheduling, multiple buffering options and filtering. The CEI-200 also supports 2-wire ARINC 419, 561, and 575 protocols.
