Overview
ASF-PCM2 is an advanced MIL-STD-1553 operation designed for use in portable notebook environments. This unit is flown routinely on the International Space Station and the Space Shuttle to troubleshoot bus problems in space. The ASF-PMC2 provides a flexible, single function, dual redundant MIL-STD-1553 interface for PCMCIA, allowing independent operation as a Bus Controller (BC), Remote Terminal (RT), or dual function Bus Monitor (BM).
