Model 618-3 PCI to VME bus adapter is a cost-effective solution for applications requiring VME to PCI connectivity and fiber-optic capabilities. The adapter directly connects the VMEbus and PCI bus creating a virtual bus that allows the two systems to operate as one, enabling seamless operation, superior performance, and the combined benefits of two diverse systems. The 618-3 provides loopback diagnostics for PIO transfers.
